Ghanaian politician and leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo, has sparked controversy with a bold statement about the conditions under which he would allow his daughter to marry.
In a video shared on X by @sikaofficial1, Akpaloo revealed that he requires any man wishing to marry his daughter to impregnate her first.
“If you’re a man who wants to marry my daughter, you need to impregnate her before the marriage. I don’t want her to face stress over having babies after getting married. The issue might not be her fault. In fact, I hope my daughter has a child before they even marry,” he stated.
He emphasized that he would not compromise on this condition and would refuse any suitor who does not meet this requirement.
He added that having a child before marriage would show the man’s seriousness and commitment to staying with his daughter.
