The National Democratic Congress (NDC), Parliamentary Candidate for the Ayawaso West Wougun Constituency, John Dumelo, says he will collaborate with the people to keep the place in good shape.
Mr. Dumelo was addressing party faithful at a durbar of chiefs during former President Mahama’s visit to the Menpasem and Bawulesie Electoral Areas.
“Ayawaso West Wougun has become dirty, it is dirty, but I’ll clean it up. I will make sure this place becomes clean,” he emphasised.
Mr. Dumelo again urged Mr. Mahama to help give back the licenses of the collapsed banks and revive them for the banks to employ more youth in the constituency and Ghana at large.
“Ayawaso West Wougun has become the economic hub of Accra, security is important, we need to take security seriously,” he said.
“Unemployment is high. Your excellency, yesterday I was passing through Dzorwulu, and I saw one of the banks that have been collapsed. I saw corn and okro growing on the compound. That is not what we want, we will plead with you to bring back the licenses of these banks so that employment will be given back to the people of Ayawaso West Wougun and Ghana,” Mr. Dumelo told Mr. Mahama.
He assured of an NDC victory in the Constituency on December 7.
