Japan Motors has signed on as the official retail partner for the INEOS Grenadier under the name ION Motors in Ghana. With many years of experience in the local automotive industry, Japan Motors is the ideal partner to bring the all-new INEOS Grenadier to the Ghanaian market.

Over the next few months, ION Motors – a subsidiary of Japan Motors – will be opening its Grenadier showroom at the Silver Star Towers, Airport City. The first demonstrator vehicles are expected to arrive in Ghana in the second quarter of 2023.
Designed for Africa
The Grenadier is built with tough terrain in mind and features a ladder-frame chassis, permanent four-wheel-drive, solid beam axles, and up to three locking differentials.
While it’s every inch a rugged 4X4, the Grenadier ticks all the right boxes on the road, too. The chassis combines a five-link suspension setup with Brembo brakes and either Bridgestone or BF Goodrich all-terrain tyres, meaning a composed and well- mannered drive no matter the condition of the track or trail.
The Grenadier is powered by a choice of two straight-six, 3.0-litre engines from BMW. Both the B57 diesel and B58 petrol powertrains have a proven track record, regularly appearing in top ten world’s best engine lists since 2016.

To date, INEOS Automotive has a network of more than 200 sales and service sites for the Grenadier spanning over 50 countries, including established dealer groups, 4X4 specialists and agricultural equipment dealers.
