John A. Nyavor, CEO of Great Mission International (GMI) Orphanage, celebrated his birthday by raising over Πηγ30,443.50 to fund the construction of a new village for the orphanage.

GMI, a registered NGO started in 2006 and fully registered in early 2011, focuses on education, health, and charitable work for children.

Nyavor used his birthday as an opportunity to solicit donations for various causes and this year for the village project.

In a statement to GhanaWeekend, he expressed his gratitude to supporters:
“I would like to thank you for your support and love towards JBI 2024 (John’s Birthday Impact). We have received Πηγ30,443.50 towards the JBI funds. This year, we plan to use these funds to continue building the village.”

With legal issues nearing resolution, Mr Nyavor emphasized the urgency of preparing for the orphanage’s move. “Join us, pray with us, and continue on this journey with us. You will not be disappointed,” he pleaded.

The award-winner also acknowledged Project Safety Nets, who arranged a relaxing hotel stay for him to celebrate his birthday. “I am grateful to them,” he added
