Multifaceted Ghanaian celebrity John Dumelo’s mother, Mrs. Antoinette Ama Ampomah Dumelo, has passed away at the age of 71.
She died on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, just a few months after celebrating her birthday in January. The cause of death has not been released.
Mrs. Dumelo was a retired customs officer and a strong supporter of her son’s career. She was also a loving mother and grandmother.
John Dumelo took to social media to announce his mother’s death, saying that his heart was broken. He shared several photos of his mother, including one of her holding him as a baby.
“My dear mother passed away peacefully yesterday…. my number one supporter. Heaven has gained an angel,” he wrote.
