Ghana striker, Jordan Ayew made his Leicester City debut in their 2-1 loss to Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday afternoon.

The 32-year-old joined the Foxes on Friday on a two-year deal from Crystal Palace.

However, head coach for the side, Steve Cooper introduced the former Swansea City and Aston Villa striker as a substitute in the second half.

Ayew replaced Bobby De Cordova-Reid on the left side of Leicester’s attack, making an impact with a dribble and completing 83% of his passes.

Fulham broke the deadlock through Smith Rowe in the 15th minute but Wout Faes equalized for the away side in the 38th minute to end the first half 1-1.

However, after recess, Alex Iwobi’s 70th-minute winner gave Fulham victory over Leicester.

Despite his efforts, Leicester couldn’t overturn the deficit, with Fulham holding on to secure the win.

Ayew will be hoping to earn a starting spot in Leicester’s upcoming matches, including their EFL Cup clash against Tranmere and a Premier League showdown with Aston Villa at the King Power Stadium.
