Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh has reflected on his achievements as the Juaboso Constituency Member of Parliament.
He said for the past 8 years he has built 8 Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compounds for his constituents which the central government and the district could not do.
CHPS compounds are community health facilities that provide primary healthcare services to rural and underserved areas. They offer various services, including maternal and child health, immunization, family planning, and treatment of minor ailments.
Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh said he has achieved much for the Juaboso Constituency, including building school infrastructure.
He said this at the commissioning of a CHPS compound he built for Agondzi in the Kaffers area of Juaboso.
The health director for Juaboso expressed his gratitude to the member of parliament for constructing the edifice at Agondzi Krom.
The residents of Agodnzi Krom and its environs find it difficult to access health care.
Dr. Deborah Mensah said the people in the area have to travel to Agyato or Bonsu Nkwanta, which is about a 30-minute to 1-hour drive before they can access quality health care, but was quick to add that the stress would become a past thing following the unveiling of the new CHPS compound at Agondzi.
Emmanuel Mortoti, the Odikro of Agodnzi Krom, also praised Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh for supporting the community. He appealed to the MP to assist with constructing proper Road networks to make traveling easier.
