Ghanaian Afrobeats artiste, Kelvynboy has disclosed his readiness to be on a music collaboration with his former record label President, Stonebwoy should the opportunity fly his way, saying he will be the first person to do that, because Stonebwoy still remains his godfather in the creative business.

“I will do it first, he is still my godfather. I love him still”, he said.

According to the downflat hit maker, Stonebwoy really taught him a lot while both of them were together and that has helped him. He stressed on hid readiness should an opportunity come for a collaboration with his former boss.

He revealed that, though communication between him and his godfather has gone on extinction following the brawl that led to his break from the BHIM camp, he believes both of them are cool with each other and doing very well with their project.

He made this revelation during an interview with Valerie Danso On the GTV Breakfast Show on June 22, 2023 Kelvynboy, who after his entry into the music limelight has been championing the promotion of the Afrobeats music genre in Ghana, mentioned that, he is proud to say, the course he championed is what is currently putting Ghana on the music map globally, ahead of the likes of Dance Hall and HipHop music.

“Afrobeats is doing well right now. Afrobeats is what is putting us on the map…it has been a very long while I heard a Dancehall tune in this country and I am happy about it because this is what we can do effortlessly”, he added.

He expressed satisfaction with the news on the addition of Afrobeats and Drill music categories to the Grammy’s, saying it will encourage him to do more. He added that, even though with his six years existence in the music scene, he still sees himself as a beginner.

He also acknowledged the mileage his hit song “downflat”  has given him and he thinks that is the beginning of his chapter.
