King Faisal coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu has emphasised the need for unity as the club battles to avoid relegation in the Ghana Premier League.

With just four points separating them from safety, King Faisal face a crucial match against Dreams FC this weekend.

Osei-Fosu, who was appointed earlier this month, drew his first league game 0-0 with Kotoko, and believes that unity among the playing body, management, and fans is key to achieving their target.

In an interview with 3Sports on GPL Xpress, Osei-Fosu said, “I understand that you need everybody. There is the kind of experience I have encountered. You will need a united front for management, the playing body, technical team, and supporters. We have to have the same heart going forward. That is for me the experience.”

He added, “We must resonate the same energy and course to win. That’s the kind of experience I’ve come to have.”

King Faisal have shown they are capable of causing upsets, having eliminated favourites Aduana Stars in the FA Cup at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, the same venue where they will play Dreams FC on Sunday.
