The Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Soale Jewu Soale, the monarch of the Gonja kingdom, has issued a decree prohibiting Samuel Abu Jinapor, Member of Parliament for Damongo and Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, from entering any palace within Gonjaland.

The ban, a testament to the unity and strength of the Gonjaland youth, follows their protests accusing Jinapor of disrespecting local authorities.

In a video aired by Channel One News, Yagbonwura Soale Jewu Soale, speaking at the Jakpa Palace, labelled the MP a destabilizing force threatening peace and unity in the region.

Speaking through an interpreter, the monarch cited several grievances for the ban, including allegations that Jinapor used his governmental position to undermine traditional authority and evade accountability.

He warned that any chief who defied this order by welcoming Jinapor to their palace would face severe consequences, underlining the seriousness of the situation.

Yagbonwura Soale Jewu Soale reiterated his resolve not to tolerate further disrespect from Jinapor, asserting his readiness to take action against any chief who hosts him or other government officials.

This reiteration reinforces the strength of his position and his determination to uphold the ban.
