Musicians, media personalities, clergies, and politicians united to offer condolences to the Ga Traditional Council for the passing of Queen Mother Naa Dedei Omaedru III.

They also made donations to the royal family to help with the funeral arrangements. The Ga Mantse and the President of the Ga Traditional Council, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II and his traditional leaders, have outlined measures which are to be observed before and during the burial of the late Ga Manye Naa Dedei Omaedru III.

The Queen Mother, a pillar of strength and inspiration for the Ga community, who was known for her unwavering support of local arts and culture died some months ago.

Her passing has left a void in many hearts, and the musicians recognized the importance of expressing their sympathy and gratitude for her immense contributions.

The musicians and media personalities, including Amandzeba, Nii Funny, Klala, Kofi Kinaata, Nii Bi, Adotey Tetor, Gasmilla, Tagoe Sisters, Andy Dosty, and Robert (PR Charter House), paid their respects and signed the condolence book for the late Ga Queen Mother at the Ga Traditional Council’s residence on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.

The Funeral Planning Committee in a statement announced that the burial rites for the Ga Manye will commence from October 23, 2023, to October 29, 2023.
