Kumawood actor Kwaku Manu has said that he will only campaign for a political party that pays him $1 billion.
Manu, who is known for his roles in films such as “Agya Koo” and “Lil Win”, said that he is not interested in campaigning for any political party unless they are willing to pay him a significant amount of money.
“I am not bragging, but no amount of money can influence me to campaign for any political party, whether NPP or NDC,” he said. “Unless they are willing to pay me over $1 billion, which I know they wouldn’t.”
He also said that he believes that it is important for celebrities to keep their political affiliations private.
“I vote every four years but I believe as a celebrity, it is good not to disclose the political party you support,” he said.
In addition to his acting career, Manu is also the host of the YouTube show “Aggressive”. He has been in the industry for over 20 years and is one of the most popular actors in Ghana.
Manu’s comments about not campaigning for political parties have sparked a debate on social media. Some people have praised him for his integrity, while others have criticized him for being greedy.
Regardless of one’s opinion, there is no doubt that Manu is a successful actor who has made a significant impact on the Ghanaian entertainment industry.
