Kylie Jenner is facing another employment lawsuit after a former personal chef accused the reality star and entrepreneur of pregnancy discrimination, alleging that demanding working conditions during a high-risk pregnancy contributed to her miscarriage.
According to court documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, the chef claims she regularly worked 11 to 12-hour shifts after joining Jenner’s household in November 2024. She says she informed her supervisors of her pregnancy the following month and requested reasonable workplace accommodations, but was instead required to carry out physically demanding tasks, including lifting and transporting heavy food items during events. The lawsuit alleges she later suffered a miscarriage after experiencing severe physical exhaustion.
The former employee is seeking unspecified damages, alleging pregnancy discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, unpaid wages and misclassification as an independent contractor. Representatives for both Jenner and the chef had not responded to requests for comment at the time of publication.
The case marks the third employment-related lawsuit filed against Jenner this year. In April, two former housekeepers separately accused her of workplace discrimination and wrongful termination, with one alleging discrimination based on her Salvadoran heritage and Catholic faith, while the other claimed she was mistreated by staff and threatened with dismissal after raising concerns.
