A young Ghanaian woman has shared a disturbing account of her former landlord, identified only as “Pastor M,” alleging that a hidden camera she installed in her room captured him repeatedly entering her apartment without her knowledge and engaging in inappropriate behaviour.
According to the woman, she decided to install the hidden camera after becoming suspicious that someone had been entering her room in her absence.
She claimed the footage allegedly showed the landlord gaining access to her room on multiple occasions and engaging in acts she described as deeply disturbing, including allegedly sniffing her underwear.
The woman further alleged that after confronting the situation, she discovered she was not the only tenant who had experienced troubling encounters with the landlord.
She said several female tenants recounted similar experiences, while one woman allegedly revealed that she had become pregnant by the landlord and was being threatened with eviction if she refused to terminate the pregnancy.
Following the alleged incidents, the woman reported the matter to the Agbogba Police. She said she subsequently moved out of the property for her own safety and peace of mind.
Speaking about her experience, she explained that her decision to go public was not only to seek awareness but also to caution other young women to exercise greater vigilance when searching for accommodation.
She advised prospective tenants to thoroughly investigate landlords and properties before moving in and to remain alert to any suspicious behaviour.
