Highlife sensation Kuami Eugene has called on President John Dramani Mahama to slow down on the appreciation of the Ghanaian cedi against the dollar .
The Ghanaian cedi has recently gained strength against other foreign currencies like the dollar and pounds, earning the finance minister and the current administration plaudits from citizens.
However Kuami Eugene in a social media post revealed that his dollar reserves are depleting due to the cedi gains sparking a buzz across social media.
He posted “We beg Pres. John Mahama for slow down small , my dollar reserves all dey go waste .”
According to the artiste, he’s having mixed feelings over the cedi’s perfromance against the cedi.
“I’m happy and sad at the same time .”
