Manchester United secured their biggest home league win of the season with a dominant 3-0 victory over West Ham at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils moved back into the top six with the win, while West Ham dropped to seventh place.

Rasmus Hojlund continued his impressive form, scoring his fourth Premier League goal in as many games to give Manchester United the lead in the 23rd minute.

The Danish striker produced a clinical finish to open the scoring, capitalising on a mistake by West Ham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.

Alejandro Garnacho doubled Manchester United’s advantage less than a minute later, with a deflected effort that wrong-footed Fabianski.

The Argentine attacker added his second goal of the game near the end of the match, after Scott McTominay intercepted a pass in the West Ham half and played a through ball to Garnacho.

Despite the convincing win, Manchester United suffered a blow when combative defender Lisandro Martinez appeared to injure his knee in a second-half tussle with Vladimir Coufal.

Martinez, who was making his fourth appearance since returning from foot surgery, tried to continue but was eventually replaced.

West Ham created several chances throughout the game, but were unable to convert them.

Emerson missed a golden opportunity to equalize early in the second half, and Diogo Dalot made a brilliant block to deny Jarrod Bowen a clear run on goal.

The victory marks the first time Manchester United have won three successive games since October, and only the second time they have achieved it this season.
