One Ghanaian gospel musician whose music has been accepted by gospel music lovers both locally and internationally is Bernice Panford.
Bernice Panford who is happily married with four Children is a gospel artiste and songwriter who is based in Belgium .
With over five years experience in the Ministry, the sensational gospel songstress has two albums to her credit;’Otumfuo’ and ‘Overcomer’.
The sensational gospel music songstress finds great inspiration in her musical journey from the strides made by musicians like Stella Aba Seal formerly Stella Dugan, Emy Newman, Joe Beachem and among others.
Before departing Ghana for Belgium, Bernice was with a band called the Duke’s Band and has also served under veteran musicians like the Tagoe Sisters and Rev. Yawson.
She sees very bright prospects for the gospel music scene in Ghana. For her, the genre has come a long way and has made a very huge impact on the Ghanaian music industry as a whole.
As a professional Nursing Assistant and an entrepreneur, Bernice has hosted her own show dubbed the ‘Alabaster Box Worship Experience’ for four years now which has featured many gospel music greats including award-winning Diana Hamilton and John Sena.
In October this year, she will host the fifth edition of the most anticipated gospel event in Europe.
The ‘Mogya No Akasa’ crooner is currently in Ghana as one of the guest artistes for this year’s edition of Diana Hamilton’s ‘Awake Experience’ concert.
She put up an amazing performance during the first phase of the much-publicized gospel musical concert held at the Perez Dome in Accra on February 19.
