Voting is currently ongoing in the Assin Central Constituency where Four aspirants are contesting for the slot to succeed Kennedy Ohene Agyapong in the upcoming 2024 general election.
The four aspirants, Godfred Nti Anawu, OBED Kumi Awuah, Eric Kwadwo Baidoo and Joseph Adjei Benin have high hopes that delegates will give one of them the nod to represent the NPP in the 2024 elections as parliamentary candidate.
Voting has started with heavy security at the Pentecost Prayer Center at Assin Fosu where the election is being held.
Meanwhile outgoing MP, Kennedy Agyapong has arrived at the polling station to cast his vote.
