Aduana FC have officially announced the appointment of Samuel Boadu as the club’s new head coach ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The Dormaa-based side confirmed the appointment on social media, bringing an end to speculation surrounding the coaching position following the departure of Romanian trainer Cioba Aristica.

In an official statement, the club welcomed the former Hearts of Oak coach to the Ogya Boys family.

“Aduana Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Samuel Boadu as the club’s new Head Coach. Welcome to Dormaa, Mr. Boadu!”

Boadu arrives with an impressive record in Ghanaian football, having won the Ghana Premier League and multiple MTN FA Cup titles during his successful spell with Hearts of Oak.

His appointment comes as Aduana FC look to bounce back from a disappointing campaign in which they finished sixth in the Ghana Premier League and fell short of their ambition of winning the FA Cup, suffering a semi-final defeat to eventual champions Nations FC.

The highly-rated tactician is expected to begin work immediately as he prepares the team for the upcoming season and aims to return the two-time Ghana Premier League champions to title contention.

Aduana FC supporters will be hoping Boadu’s arrival ushers in a new era of success as the club sets its sights on domestic honours and a return to continental football.
