Ghanaian socialite Ohemaa Dynamite appeared before the Adenta Circuit Court on Monday, October 19, 2026, in connection with an ongoing theft case involving founder and leader of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim.
The court granted her bail in the sum of GH¢1 million, with the condition that her sureties must be justified. Proceedings have been adjourned to October 28, 2026, when the case is expected to continue.
The legal proceedings stem from allegations linking Ohemaa Dynamite to an alleged theft involving funds belonging to Bishop Obinim.
The unfolding controversy has generated intense public interest across social media and traditional news outlets, drawing scrutiny toward individuals associated with both parties as investigators examine the circumstances surrounding the missing funds.
Adding a twist to the narrative, reports had circulated widely online claiming that Prophet Ogyaba—reported to be Ohemaa Dynamite’s godfather—had intervened to secure her release.
According to the unverified reports, he allegedly contacted the Cantonments Police Station to arrange her bail while supposedly operating from Elubo.
Speaking out against the claims, Prophet Ogyaba pushed back firmly, clarifying that he was in London at the time of the incident and had nothing to do with arranging her bail.
He rejected the circulating reports entirely, distancing himself from any involvement in the legal process.
Proceedings before the Adenta Circuit Court will resume next week on October 28, 2026.
