Asante Kotoko midfielder Justice Blay has expressed confidence in the team’s preparations for the upcoming 2024/25 season.
Blay praised the rigorous training sessions led by the coaches, noting that the team is technically well-prepared and highly motivated.
The Porcupine Warriors faced challenges last season, finishing sixth in the domestic top-flight, where Samartex emerged as champions.
Blay is one of the few players to have remained at the club following the massive clear out exercise at the end of the season.
Speaking to the media, the former Medeama midfielder is optimistic about the team’s prospects and believes their hard work will pay off.
“When you see the training the coaches are giving to the boys it is very good the preparations to the Friday game i think it is also good. I see the training we are doing technically it is good everybody is determined that this year we will do well and go forward. So they should watch out for us on Friday for sure the training we have done we will go and win,” he said.
Asante Kotoko are currently preparing for the 2024/25 campaign. They have already made it two wins in the preseason friendly games.
The Porcupine will take on Medeama on Friday as part of the inauguration of the newly built TNA Park in Tarkwa.
Kotoko will begin their Premier League campaign against Karela United.
