Kumasi’s December celebrations kicked off in spectacular fashion with Bronya Nkwan. The third edition of Pap Jay and Friends brought together individuals from diverse backgrounds, uniting friends and colleagues in a joyous celebration featuring the main meal attraction; Fufu, with an array of tasty soups.

Held at the Greenwood Events Center in Asokwa during the Farmer’s Day holiday, the event not only provided a feel-good feasting experience but also immersed attendees in participatory fun activities. The venue echoed with good music from DJs on rotation and Mcs ensured non-stop interaction and lively vibes throughout.

A significant aspect of Bronya Nkwan was its heartfelt initiative to gather donations for feeding 500 street children with nourishing meals and drinks during the festive season. The event successfully raised an impressive GHC10,000, underscoring generosity and commitment to making a positive impact. Street food sharing is scheduled for 26 th December 2023.

Reflecting on its earlier editions, the inaugural Pap Jay and Friends (Kenkey Edition) directed donations and proceeds to the mother and baby unit of the Mampong Government Hospital.

The second edition further extended its reach by providing meals for 300 street children, exemplifying the event’s dedication to supporting various charitable causes.

Pap Jay and Friends, at its core, is a non-profit food and charity event designed to foster socialization and allow individuals to relish their favorite meals while contributing to a greater purpose. The overarching goal is to raise funds and bring joy to the lives of the less privileged, making each edition a memorable and impactful experience for all involved.

Bronya Nkwan was sponsored by Star Beer, Voltic, MTN Ghana, Icommerce Events, Almond Foods, Black Ash Events, Rakish Memories and Greenwood Events Center.
