GFA President Kurt OkrakuThe Chairman of Parliaments Select Committee on Sports, Ernest Henry Norgbey, says the committee will invite the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Sports Minister to explain the recent struggles of the Black Stars.Norgbey said the committee is yet to investigate Ghanas poor performance in the ongoing 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.We as a committee are yet to investigate the performance of the Black Stars in recent times. We plan to invite the GFA, the Minister, purposely and specifically to interrogate what actually is happening to Ghana football, especially when it comes to the Black Stars, he told Akoma 87.9 FM.The Black Stars have lost their opening two Group C matches, suffering a 2-0 defeat to Cote dIvoire before a 4-2 loss to The Gambia in Accra.Norgbey said the committee wants to establish what is behind the teams recent struggles before deciding on possible measures.The planned engagement will place the GFA and the Sports Ministry under parliamentary scrutiny as Ghana seeks to revive its AFCON qualification campaign.
