Ghana Athletics has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Peeva Beverages, officially naming the company as the Official Beverage Partner for the upcoming African Athletics Championships Accra 2026 scheduled from May 12 to 17.

The agreement, sealed at the company’s premises, forms part of preparations toward hosting the prestigious continental competition in Accra. It underscores efforts by Ghana Athletics to secure strategic partnerships aimed at delivering a successful tournament.

Under the terms of the deal, Peeva Beverages will provide hydration and refreshment solutions for athletes, officials, and spectators throughout the championship. Both parties say the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to excellence, athlete welfare, and the growth of athletics across Africa.

President of Ghana Athletics, Bawah Fuseini, highlighted the importance of private sector support, noting that such partnerships are vital for efficient event organization and enhancing athlete performance.

Peeva Beverages also expressed pride in supporting the championship, reaffirming its dedication to quality and innovation.

The event is expected to attract elite athletes from across the continent, reinforcing Ghana’s growing reputation as a destination for major international sporting competitions.
