Jamaican dancehall artiste Popcaan has appealed to British Airways for help in recovering a custom-made ring he says was left on one of the airline’s flights from London to Jamaica.
In a post on X, the musician said the ring was left in the seat pouch shortly before the aircraft landed in Jamaica. He identified the flight as BA2263 and said he had been seated in 2D.
Popcaan said he realised the ring was missing within minutes of landing and immediately attempted to retrieve it, but was later informed that it had not been found. He described the item as “one of a kind” and said “#unrulystate” was engraved on the inside.
The artiste urged airport staff, cleaning personnel and British Airways to assist in locating the ring. He also called on supporters to share his appeal online. British Airways has not publicly commented on the matter.
