Ghanaian forward Frank Adjei Junior has opened up on his electric start to the season in Sweden following his move to Hammarby IF.The 22-year-old scored his first goal of the campaign to earn Hammarby a vital point in their 1-1 draw against Halmstad BK on Wednesday evening.He has already made a two-goal contribution across four games in the new season.”I think it is the mentality. Everybody in the club wants to give everything to the club and also ourselves and our families. So we are here doing what we love and we just want to put smiles on our loves ones faces. It’s just the mentality and being able to strike the opponents anytime we have the chance,” he told the club’s media.Although he joined Hammarby in July 2025, Adjei Jnr took time to settle, becoming a consistent member of the team this season.”I’ve loved being here. I think I am comfortable and I have settled and trying to be the best version of myself. I Think this is the right club for me and also I have been trying to improve day by day, game by game and the people around me having be helping me, so I think this is the best club to be in,” he added.The talented forward moved to Sweden from Ghana Premier League side Bibiani GoldStars, joining Varnamo before switching to Hammarby.
