Each Regional Colts Champion will be awarded GHS10,000, a complete set of jerseys and 10 footballs at the end of the 2026/27 season, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced.
The package was unveiled by GFA President and CAF 2nd Vice-President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku at the official launch of the 2026/27 Colts Football Season.
The ceremony took place at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
The initiative is part of the GFAs continued investment in Colts football and its efforts to strengthen the role of Regional Football Associations (RFAs) in organising and developing grassroots football across the country.
Under the arrangement, each club that wins its regional Colts competition will receive GHS10,000 in prize money, together with playing jerseys and 10 footballs.
The Football Association said the support was intended to provide both financial recognition and practical assistance to clubs competing at regional level.
It also forms part of a wider series of measures aimed at improving the Colts football structure, increasing the resources available to clubs and creating stronger incentives for young players involved in grassroots competitions.
In recent years, the GFA has increased its support for Colts Clubs through the distribution of footballs, player registration and digital licences, coaching education and other logistical interventions.
The latest package extends that support by giving regional champions additional equipment and financial backing at the conclusion of the season.
