The Aqua edition of Rhythms on Da Runway, organised by Kofi Okyere Darko[KOD], was officially launched at Soho Airport City in Accra on September 21, 2023.
The event was a celebration of music and fashion, with performances by Edem, Natty Borax, Epixode, Abiana, and Mo Spec.
It was a star-studded event. Media personalities and dignitaries in attendance included, Abeiku Santana, Dj Mingle of Citi FM/Citi TV, Nat Attoh, Andy Dosty, Inspector General of Police Akuffo Dampare and the South African High Commissioner.
The event was hosted by MCs Abiana and Jay Foley, who welcomed everyone to the evening. Rapper Edem opened the night with a spectacular performance, followed by Natty Borax and Epixode. After the performances, it was all fashion and music, with models showcasing the latest designs from top African designers.
The Agua edition of Rhythms on Da Runway was officially launched by the South African High Commissioner, Her Excellency Grace Jeanet Mason who spoke about the importance of collaboration between African countries and the role that fashion and music can play in promoting unity.
The event was a resounding success, and attendees praised the organizers for putting on a well-executed and entertaining evening.
