Rihanna remains the wealthiest woman in music with a net worth of $1.4 billion, according to Forbes’ America’s Richest Self-Made Women List.

Taylor Swift follows Rihanna on the list, with a net worth of $740 million. Madonna and Beyoncé are also among the world’s richest female pop stars, with net worths of $590 million and $500 million, respectively.

Despite landing at No. 20 on the list as a whole, Rihanna, a mother one and pregnant with baby number 2, is the only billionaire on the list of richest female musicians with most of her earnings stemming from music, and coupled with her cosmetic and fashion lines, particularly with Fenty Beauty. Other classic pop icons like Madonna, Cher, Celine Dion, and Shania Twain also rank high.

Aside from her monstrous hits, Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty, which she co-owns with France’s LVMH, doubled its revenue in 2022, while Savage x Fenty earned a whopping $1 billion valuation. The publication gave Rihanna a “self-made score” of 10.

As for Taylor Swift, who became the second richest woman in music, she landed at No. 34 on the list overall, with a “self-made score” of 8. According to Forbes, Taylor’s net worth is estimated at $740 million and a bulk of that figure stems from her record-breaking music sales and tour tickets.

Coming in third as richest female musician is Madonna, who landed at No. 45 on the list overall with $580 million.

The fourth richest woman in music is Beyoncé, who is currently on her Renaissance Tour landed at No. 48 overall on Forbes‘ list, with $540 million in net worth.
