Former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hearts of Oak, Harry Zakour has implored Togbe Afede XIV to sack Vincent Sowah Odotei from the board.
His comments come in the wake of the club’s poor performance in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
Hearts of Oak are being threatened by relegation and must win their final game against Bechem United on Sunday at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park to maintain their Premier League status.
Speaking in an interview, Zakour, who led the Rainbow Club to win the CAF Champions League, Confederation Cup and multiple Ghana Premier League titles charged the Executive Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV to sack Sowah Odotei since he has been a problem.
According to him, the General Manager cannot execute his job properly since he continues to be on the board.
“The General Manager (Delali Anku-Adiamah) of the club can’t work well for the club if Hon. Sowah Odotei is around. He must be sacked,” he told Asempa FM as monitored by Footballghana.com.
Hearts of Oak sit 15th on the Premier League log with 42 points. Their clash against Bechem United is scheduled to kick off at 15:00GMT.
