Popular Ghanaian dancehall artist Akata Stone has launched a new dance challenge to promote his latest single, “Shake.”
The challenge began on September 1, 2023, and asks participants to post videos of themselves dancing to the song on social media using the hashtag #shakedancechallenge.
The challenge has quickly gained traction, with thousands of people already participating.
Some of the most creative and impressive videos have come from students, who have been using the challenge to show off their dance skills.
The winner of the challenge will receive a cash prize of GHC500 (about US\$100). The challenge will run until September 30, 2023.
“Shake” is a dancehall track with a catchy melody and a unique beat. The lyrics are about partying and having a good time, and the song is definitely going to get people on their feet.
Akata Stone is known for his energetic live performances, and he is bent to bring the heat when he performs “Shake” on stage.
