Ghanaian journalist and entrepreneur Afua Asantewaa has stated that her team is yet to submit evidence of her attempt to break the Guinness World Record sing-a-thon for official recognition.
According to her the judges and technical team have finalised their works,” and they will soon submit them for verification by the Guinness World Records before an official announcement is made on my record attempt”.
She gave this explanation during the 31st Watch Night service at the Potter’s City headed by Prophet Nanasei Opoku-Sarkodie at Prampram
Afua Asantewaa who had commenced her attempt to break the sing-a-thon record on Christmas Eve, concluded on Friday, December 29 after an impressive 126 hours and 52 minutes.
The entrepreneur who has been appointed Ghana’s Tourism Ambassador performed a non-stop series of Ghanaian songs during the sing-a-thon at Akwaaba village.
