A student of the Bolgatanga Midwifery Training College has sent a poignant and emotional message to the person that stole her phone to return it so she can also study.
In her rather disheartening message, the student who only gave her name as Rita says she has not had good sleep after her phone was stolen. Rita says she is an orphan cannot afford to buy another phone.
“How will I even pay my school fees? I even owe school fees. My mum is dead. I am a house orphan. I don’t have anybody to take care of me. I and my siblings are struggling to pay our school fees.” Miss Rita narrates sadly.
The level 200 BMTC Student, wearing her green uniform in the midst of her colleagues on campus, is heard in a viral video crying and begging for her phone to be returned to her so that she can use for her studies. Miss Rita shared fresh tears, wondering where and how she will get an android phone while wishing to compensate the ‘thief’ in kind.
“Today at 2.00am, I kept my phone on charge while I was studying, unfortunately I dosed off; before I realized they had taken my phone. I’m begging the person who took it to return it. Please bring my phone back so that me too I can learn.” Miss Rita begs.
