Ghana defender Tariq Lamptey has resumed training after recovering from at injury that has kept him out for close to two months.The Black Stars defender joined his Brighton and Hove Albion teammates this week for training ahead of their Premier League game against West Ham United.Lamptey missed Ghana’s World Cup qualifiers in March against Chad and Madagascar due to the setback.Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler is expected to hand him a role in the game against West Ham as the Seagulls continue their pursuit of a European place finish.The 24-year-old has been outstanding for Brighton in the ongoing campaign despite his battles with injury.The former Chelsea defender has made 13 Premier League appearances this season, scoring two goals and delivering two assists.Meanwhile, his future at the club remains uncertain with two months left on his current deal and has been reportedly linked with a move to Ajax in the Netherlands.Lamptey is expected to be available for the Black Stars in May for the Unity Cup in London.
