A student of the Ghana National College in Cape Coast identified as Theophilus Ansah has died, leaving his family absolutely incensed.
According to his family, their son only died due to negligence from school authorities.
In the family’s narration, their son fell ill on June 28.
He reportedly called his mother to complain but according to her the school authorities did not deem it prudent he be sent to the hospital.
However, it turned out he was seriously sick and he was left of his own devices in the school’s infirmary where he vomited an eventually collapsed.
He was rushed to the hospital but died.
His family is now demanding justice from the school.
