Togbi Azadagli IV has been formally enstooled as the new Like Fia of Tegbi in Ghana’s Volta Region, marking a historic moment for the Tsrimega Royal Family and the Anlo community. The installation ceremony on July 10, 2025, featured vibrant traditional rituals, music, and dance, underscoring Anlo’s 15th-century cultural heritage.
Born into the Anlo community, Togbi Azadagli IV brings decades of leadership experience to the role. He succeeds a lineage of Tegbi chiefs credited with advancing local education, healthcare, and infrastructure. In his inaugural address, he pledged to foster unity among clans while preserving Anlo traditions globally.
Dignitaries including Dusifiagah Togbi Gbordzor of Anlo Dukor and Torgbi Kposegee of Anyako attended in full regalia, signaling broad regional support. Community members expressed confidence in his vision for “a united and prosperous Tegbi.”
The Tsrimega Royal Family emphasized the ceremony’s significance in reinforcing leadership continuity. Togbi Azadagli IV now faces the dual mandate of driving development and safeguarding cultural identity.
