Controversial Ghanaian counsellor George Lutterodt has criticised the thirteen Ghanaians who recently travelled from Accra to London by road.
According to him the travellers have tarnished the image of Ghana by putting themselves in danger and by not following the proper channels.
He pointed out that the travellers could have been attacked by rebels or other groups along the way, and that they have also set a bad example for others who may be thinking of trying to travel to Europe illegally.
The controversial counsellor urged the travellers not to repeat their actions. He also urged the government to do more to discourage people from travelling illegally.
Counsellor Lutterodt tasked the Ghanaian embassies in other countries should be more vigilant in monitoring the activities of Ghanaian citizens and should help to ensure that they are safe.
