Famous Ghanaian afro songstress MzVee born Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda has criticized the NPP government for not caring about the people and spending money recklessly.
She believes the government is not fulfilling its duties and ignoring citizens.
MzVee made this statement while explaining why she was not spotted at the #OccupyJulorbiHouse protests.
Several Ghanaian celebrities including Stonebwoy, Efia Odo, D-Black, Kelvyn Boy, E.L, Kwaw Kese, M.anifest and Pappy Kojo joined citizens in the 3-day demonstration organised by the pressure group “Democracy Hub.”
“Me I just came back from America and I have been in America for four months and I just came back and when I came back I had to do some rounds. But as for this country, I don’t know but I think our leaders don’t care about us that much and that’s what I can say,” she continued on the show.” She said on Property FM
The ‘Natural Girl’ monster hitmaker fumed that the government is ignoring their responsibilities and spending money recklessly.
MzVee is currently out with her highly anticipated single “Destiny” .In the song, MzVee sings about how she was destined for greatness, and how she is determined to achieve her dreams no matter what obstacles she faces.
