Striker Collins Kudjoe has been spearheading Kotoku Royals’ charge to beat the drop as the lethal forward has bagged 4 goals in his last 3 games in the Ghanaian top-flight league.

Kudjoe, 20, was on target on Sunday as the Akyem Oda-based side made light works of Bechem United by humbling them 3-1 at the Theatre of Dreams. The goal arrived at the 23rd-minute mark when the former Susubiribi Sporting Club forward employed his poacher’s instinct and cold-bloodedness in front of goal to finish off a move by Wilson Kwabena.

His impressive showing has won him 2 MVPs in the last 3 games he has featured for Kotoku.

Sunday’s victory has now left Kotoku just 7 points away from safety from relegation.

Prior to Sunday’s effort in Dawu, Kudjoe had terrorised the tough-minded defenders of Nsoatreman at the Professor Nana Konamansah Park by scoring an artful finish from an acute range.

He bagged a brace against Dreams FC as his numbers keep improving in the league. He could join the top scorers’ chart with his rate of scoring.
