Member of Parliament for the people of the Ningo-Prampram Constituency in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana, Samuel Nartey George has reacted to the official resignation of former flagbearer hopeful of the NPP, Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, saying his resignation changes nothing because the value is the same.

Alan Kyerematen’s withdrawal and resignation from the Flagbearer contest and the NPP respectively have raised lots of conversation within the political and governance spaces in Ghana. Both members of the NPP and NDC have had their two cents on the subject matter with diverse angles being picked.

Adding a conversation to the discussion is the Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Samuel Nartey George.

According to him, the reverse metamorphosis from elephant to a monarch butterfly by Alan Kyerematen doesn’t change the fact that he is part of the people wrecking the country’s economy.

‘Whether you are an elephant or a butterfly or a tsetsefly, it is not my business. The value is the same. Alan Kyerematen is as guilty as Bawumia is, of the colossal failure of this economy”, he said.

In an interview with the media, the outspoken Member of Parliament mentioned that, the former NPP member stayed in power for the past seven years under the current Akufo-Addo government and saw the economy go south and quizzed what new thing he brings under the coloUrs of his monarch butterfly.

He stated that the country needs a covering of the umbrella party and not a destructive elephant or poisonous butterfly.
