Black Stars deputy captain Thomas Teye Partey paid a special tribute to renowned Ghanaian businessman Ibrahim Mahama by presenting him with a signed Ghana jersey during his visit to the national team’s camp ahead of the game against Croatia.
The Arsenal midfielder handed over the autographed shirt as a token of appreciation, with the two sharing a warm moment ahead of Ghana’s final Group L match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Mahama, a well-known supporter of Ghanaian football, was all smiles as he received the special gift from one of the Black Stars’ most experienced players.
The memorable exchange highlighted the strong bond between the national team and some of the country’s leading personalities, who continue to rally behind the Black Stars during the tournament.
Partey recently returned to Ghana’s starting lineup after missing the opening match against Panama and played a key role in the team’s goalless draw against England.
The Black Stars will now shift their focus to their decisive group-stage clash against Croatia as they chase a place in the knockout rounds of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
