A week following his passing at the age of 62, country music icon Toby Keith has achieved a posthumous No. 1 spot on Billboard’s album chart.

His compilation album, “35 Biggest Hits,” originally released 16 years ago, has made a significant comeback, narrowly surpassing Morgan Wallen’s latest release and outperforming recent albums from rapper 21 Savage, as well as Grammy winners Taylor Swift and SZA.

Featuring timeless tracks such as “Should’ve Been a Cowboy,” “Who’s Your Daddy?,” “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue,” and the poignant duet with Willie Nelson, “Beer for My Horses,” all of which have topped the country music charts, Keith’s compilation album soared to the top of the Billboard 200 chart once again.

With an impressive equivalent of 66,000 sales in the United States, including 64 million streams and 11,000 copies sold as a complete package, according to tracking service Luminate, Keith’s enduring legacy continues to resonate with fans old and new alike.
