A heartbreaking incident has struck the Konongo Odumase M/A Basic School community following the sudden death of two beloved teachers on the same day.
According to reports, a male teacher, Francis Aguah, popularly known as “General,” fell ill during the vacation period.
Sadly, he passed away on the very day school reopened, leaving colleagues, students, and the entire community in shock.

In an even more devastating turn of events, a female teacher, Grace Stepheny, affectionately called “Obaamua,” reportedly collapsed after hearing the tragic news of her colleague’s passing. She was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after.
The tragic loss of both teachers on the same day has plunged the school and the Konongo Odumase community into deep mourning, with many describing the incident as both shocking and painful.
Tributes have begun pouring in for the two educators, remembered for their dedication, impact, and service to their students.
