Ghanaian actor and film director, Van Vicker, has achieved another significant academic milestone after graduating with a First-Class Honours Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Wisconsin International University College Ghana.
Following the institution’s 2026 congregation ceremony held on Friday, June 19, at the CEM Auditorium in North Legon, the award-winning actor took to social media to share photos from the graduation ceremony, including moments with his colleagues and fellow graduates.
Reflecting on his achievement, Van Vicker emphasized that earning a First-Class Honours degree is an indication of academic excellence but does not automatically translate into professional mastery of the legal profession.
“A First Class Honours in LLB doesn’t automatically make me a better lawyer but what it does mean is: Academic Excellence, Strong Discipline & Work Ethic, Analytical & Critical Thinking Skills, Prestige & Recognition, Opportunities,” he wrote.
He further noted that success in the legal profession goes beyond academic performance, stressing the importance of advocacy skills, emotional intelligence, practical courtroom or advisory experience, character, integrity and continuous learning.
According to the actor, a First-Class Honours degree serves as proof of academic mastery and provides a strong foundation, but becoming an outstanding lawyer requires dedication to practice, mentorship and personal development.

The latest achievement adds to Van Vicker’s impressive academic record. It will be recalled that he graduated from the African University College of Communications (AUCC), now the African University of Communication and Business (AUCB), in 2021 with First-Class Honours in Strategic Communication. During his graduation from the institution, he was awarded both the Best Strategic Communication Student and the Best Communication Student for his exceptional academic performance.
A year later, he earned a Master’s degree from the same institution, further advancing his educational journey alongside his successful career in the film industry.
His latest accomplishment has been met with admiration from fans and colleagues, many of whom have congratulated him for balancing academic excellence with a thriving career in entertainment.
