Former Ghana FA Vice President George Afriyie has declared his candidacy for the 2023 GFA Presidential Elections.
Afriyie, who was the President of the Ghanaian football governing body from 2015 to 2018, said he is fully convinced that with his wealth of experience, burning passion for Ghana football, and a clear vision for its restoration.
The former CAF AFCON Marketing Committee member conceded defeat in the 2019 Elections to Kurt Okraku who has led the association for the past four years.
“In the previous election, there was no clear-cut winner however I conceded in the interest of Ghana Football. I offered my support and directed my followers to do same, but what do we see now?,” he said during his speech in the official announcement.
