Many Ghanaians have been complaining about mobile data charges by network operators in the country.
Mobile data in Ghana, to many people, is very expensive making it difficult for them to enjoy their internet connectivity.
When it comes to data charges in the country, one of the network providers known to be running expensive data bundles or packages is MTN.
With Ghanaians raising lots of concerns over the data charges, the Minister of Communications, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful appeared on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” morning show today and host of the programme, Kwami Sefa Kayi, asked what the network providers are doing about the charges.
But according to the Minister, data in Ghana is far better as compared to other countries in Africa.
She argued that “we have one of the lowest data charges on the continent. So, it is not that bad at all”.
