As communities continue to recover from the devastating floods caused by the recent heavy rains in Accra, Weave Ghana, a subsidiary of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd., has donated boxes of Good Knight Power Shot and Aer Power Pocket to the Tema West, Ayawaso Central and Ayawaso West Wuogon Municipal Assemblies to support residents affected by the disaster.
The donation forms part of the company’s commitment to safeguarding the health and wellbeing of vulnerable communities in the aftermath of the floods. The Good Knight Power Shot, a concentrated, non-propellant multi-insect killer, will be distributed by the Municipal Assembly to households within the municipality to help protect families against mosquitoes and other disease carrying insects.
Flooding often creates conditions that increase the breeding of mosquitoes, heightening the risk of malaria and other insect transmitted diseases. Through this intervention, Weave Ghana aims to contribute to ongoing public health efforts by helping residents create safer and healthier living environments as they rebuild their lives.
Unlike conventional insecticide sprays, Good Knight Power Shot contains no gas or kerosene and features a pleasant fragrance. The product is designed to be sprayed (2shots) into the corners of a room, where its active ingredients diffuse throughout the entire space to effectively eliminate mosquitoes and other insects. Each bottle provides protection for up to 50 nights, also, rooms can be safely occupied after application, making it a practical solution for households.
As a socially responsible organization, Weave Ghana remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote healthier communities to improve the wellbeing of Ghanaians through meaningful partnerships and impactful interventions
