The senior lecturer at the University of Kano, identified as Professor Ibrahim Taiwo who was filmed been physically assaulted by an angry husband and his friends has been hospitalised and is currently battling for his life.
As reported, the lecturer was caught red-handed engaging with one of his married students under the guise of helping her to pass her exams.
During their meetups, the senior lecturer recorded the intimate encounters and kept them on his laptop.
The scandal reportedly came to light after the professor gave his laptop to another student to help him update the Windows software.
During the process, the student stumbled upon the explicit recording and allegedly forwarded a copy to himself before sharing it among his peers.
