According to the statement released on September 11 and signed by the CEO of Rufftown Records, Ricky Nana Agyeman (popularly known as Bullet), Wendy Shay is on the road to recovery and is positively responding to medical treatment after surviving the accident, which occurred on the midnight of Sunday, September 10, along the ACP Kwabenya road.
Since news of the accident broke, fans of the “Uber Driver” hit-maker, as well as her colleagues, have expressed deep concerns about her well-being.
The statement from the management assures the public of Wendy Shay’s safety and states that she is receiving appropriate medical care, which has been effective in her recovery.
In the official statement, it is mentioned, “We are pleased to inform everyone that Wendy Shay has survived a serious accident and is currently showing signs of improvement. The accident took place on Sunday, September 10, around midnight, on the ACP Kwabenya high road, when a Tipper Truck collided with the singer’s vehicle from behind. Wendy Shay was swiftly taken to the hospital, where she received immediate medical attention.”
