You dont adjust within one month or two months; football doesnt work like that.You could see that defensively, we were better, but we fell short a bit offensively, so we have to find the right balance. The manager needs time; hes a very good manager,” Jordan Ayew said.The defeat ended Ghana’s campaign and likely brought an end to Ayew’s World Cup journey. The 34-year-old has featured in three editions of the tournament 2014, 2022 and 2026 and may have played his final match on football’s biggest stage.The Black Stars will now turn their attention to the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, with Queiroz expected to continue his project of reshaping the team.
